Engineering Technology prepares future teachers to inspire students to understand how engineering and technology shape the world around them. You will develop the knowledge, skills and pedagogical approaches needed to teach engineering concepts, design processes and problem-solving in engaging and meaningful ways. The teaching area explores topics such as structures, mechanisms, electronics, control systems and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world applications. Through practical projects and contemporary teaching strategies, you will learn how to support students in developing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and technological capability.
