Overview

The Earth and Environmental Science Teaching Area prepares future teachers to help students understand the dynamic processes that shape the Earth and influence environmental systems. It explores geology, climate science, ecosystems, natural resources and human impacts on the environment, while developing strong scientific inquiry skills. Pre‑service teachers learn how to design engaging, evidence‑based learning experiences that build students’ curiosity about the natural world and support informed, responsible decision‑making about environmental challenges.
