In the biblical studies major sequence you will explore the background, history, culture, literary character and religious message of biblical texts, as well as their application in contemporary contexts. Develop a critical reading of the biblical text as sacred scripture, and broaden and deepen your engagement with the Bible in a spirit of open and critical inquiry by drawing on a wide range of tools of interpretation.
