Overview

Elevate your teaching with ACU’s new microcredentials in industrial technology.

The Industrial Technology Microcredentials offers a unique opportunity for Technologies and Applied Sciences (TAS) teachers to expand their expertise, deepen their specialist knowledge, and stay at the forefront of innovation. If you're passionate about using technology to solve real-world challenges, upskilling will empower you to bring fresh ideas and dynamic perspectives to your classroom.

Tailor your learning with eight microcredentials that can be completed progressively or as stand-alone microcredentials, providing flexible professional development. Each badged microcredential contributes towards accreditation and offers a credit pathway into the Graduate Diploma in Design and Technologies Education. Students will explore units in:

  • timber design
  • product design
  • industrial technology
  • electromechanical and engineering technologies
  • design and technologies curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.

These flexible multi-mode microcredentials are delivered online, with unique cohort delivery via the Regional, Rural and Remote (RRR) Delivery Hubs (2025 intake only) and to specialised cohorts by arrangement.
