We have embarked on a journey to develop the university’s next strategy, ACU Vision 2033.
Over the coming months, we will collectively identify our strengths and challenges, translating them into strategic possibilities to continue delivering on our mission and amplify our impact over the next decade.

Our journey so far
Over 840 members of the ACU community participated in the first consultation round (30 June to 21 October 2022). Participants included staff, students, alumni, industry partners, and our Catholic community.
In this brainstorming and idea-gathering phase, the ACU community collectively discussed global/local, internal/external and persistent/emerging challenges shaping the future of our university.
In light of the challenges identified, participants also discussed the possibilities ahead and creatively began to re-imagine the strategic choices that will enable ACU to continue delivering on its mission over the next decade.
ACU Vision 2033 consultation was multi-faceted and followed a diversity of methods, including:
- in-person and virtual focus groups
- online submissions via the ACU Vision 2033 portal and email
- targeted consultation via internal committees
- one-on-one interviews.
The diversity of perspectives and voices heard so far will enrich the strategy development process over the coming months.
