Key points:
Australian Catholic University (ACU) has ranked number one in Australia for employer satisfaction, according to the latest QILT Employer Satisfaction Survey (ESS).
The national Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching survey measures how well graduates meet employer needs and expectations.
In a milestone achievement, 92.6% of employers reported positive overall satisfaction with ACU graduates - the best result for any university in the country.
This follows strong outcomes in the 2024 Student Experience Survey (SES) for undergraduate satisfaction and a 10-year high for postgraduate overall satisfaction.
ACU Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Tania Broadley said the recognition is a testament to the dedication and expertise of ACU staff.
“Being ranked number one for employer satisfaction two years in a row reflects our strong focus on preparing graduates for success,” Professor Broadley said.
“Our staff work closely with community and industry to ensure our students develop the skills, experience, and confidence employers value.”
The result reinforces ACU’s position as a national leader in employability and the university’s sustained success in preparing graduates who meet the needs of employers and perform strongly in the workplace.
ACU’s long-standing focus on delivering industry-aligned courses and work-integrated learning has built strong employer and community partnerships, preparing graduates who embody the university’s value-led mission.
