ShareFrom testing out a biomechanic lab to exploring a VR-classroom, visiting student accommodation or joining a mock legal trial, future students and their families can experience life on campus at Australian Catholic University’s Open Days.
ACU will host a series of events over the next two months at its campuses in Ballarat, Blacktown, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, North Sydney and Strathfield.
The range of activities on offer this year includes state-of-the-art nursing, paramedicine and physiotherapy simulation labs, nutrition demonstrations and VR teaching demonstrations.
Aspiring ACU students will be able to participate in hands-on activities, campus tours, information sessions and speak to ACU academics, current students and alumni.
ACU Future Students Associate Director Caroline Taouk said Open Day was designed to help students find out more about their study options and pathways to university, while soaking up ACU’s vibrant campus life.
“For many prospective students, Open Day is their first step in picturing their future at university,” Ms Taouk said.
“It’s always a fantastic day with loads of information sessions, food trucks and live entertainment.
“Open Day is also a chance to ask all the questions you didn’t even know you had. Future students and their families can get more information about the different pathways to university, including our ACU Guarantee early entry program, student veteran services, Indigenous higher education units and the hundreds of scholarships available.”
Anyone who registers to come along to Open Day 2025 can win prizes including $2,500 towards their future study expenses at ACU or a Macbook Air.
