Plan to return international students to Victoria

Statement from Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Zlatko Skrbis on the safe return of international students to Victoria

Australian Catholic University (ACU) welcomes and supports the Victorian International Students Arrivals Plan for the gradual and safe return of international students to Victoria.

The development of this plan is the result of close collaboration with the State Government, Global Victoria and other representatives from across the education sector.

The plan clears the way for the return our international students back to Victoria so that they can re-join us and continue their studies on campus in Melbourne and Ballarat.

Our more than 3,400 international students from more than 90 countries are valued members of and contributors to the ACU community. The wellbeing of all our students remains our top priority, and we are working closely with authorities to ensure appropriate support structures are in place to facilitate their safe and supported return to Australia.

Details of the Victorian International Students Arrivals Plan will be published to the FAQ section of the ACU website here as soon as it becomes available.

The Study Melbourne website is also a useful source of information regarding the return of international students, and I encourage you to access the website for any further updates.

ACU continues to actively collaborate with the relevant state and territory officials on plans to return international students to our campuses in other states and territories. Further information about this can be found here.
