A former soldier is helping other veterans find peace through university study.
ACU’s ground-breaking Student Veteran Support Program did not exist when ex-combat engineer Aaron Cornwall commenced a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree several years ago.
Now the coordinator for Student Veteran Services at ACU, Mr Cornwall is a driving force behind a suite of services developed to provide strong, visible networks to guide former soldiers in their entry and transition into university, and ongoing support through their degree and beyond.
