The La Salle Academy delivers an integrated portfolio of teaching and formation programs that address critical needs across the Catholic education sector. These programs support the full professional lifecycle, from pre-service teacher formation through to executive leadership and governance development.
Spiritus International equips Catholic educators and ministry leaders with theological depth, spiritual renewal and practical capability to assist schools in developing as centres of evangelisation. Its flexible delivery model integrates academic study, retreat experience and international immersion, enabling sustained growth and international recognition.
The Spiritus Leaders Network (SLN) extends the Spiritus experience by providing ongoing, post-program formation. As a collaborative professional learning community, the network supports leaders in evangelisation and mission through shared practice, reflection and accompaniment.
Signum Fidei, designed for pre-service and early career teachers, bridges initial teacher education and the distinctive mission requirements of Catholic schools. The program offers structured formation culminating in cross-cultural immersion, supporting participants to integrate faith, identity and professional practice.
The Master of Educational Leadership (MEdL) has been renewed in response to national consultation with senior Catholic educators and addresses the distinctive leadership challenges of Catholic schooling. The program integrates the Catholic intellectual tradition, ecclesiology, spirituality, theology, evangelisation and mission within the professional knowledge, skills and attributes required to lead contemporary schools.
The Graduate Certificate in Catholic Studies (Catholic School Foundations) supports early- to mid-career teachers seeking deeper integration of faith and practice. The program responds to sector needs for theological literacy and mission capability within Catholic school contexts.
Two research-informed microcredentials – Galilee, formation capability; and Ephesus, leadership capability – have been endorsed by the La Salle Advisory Board and are ready for implementation. Both align with AQF Level 9 standards and ACU’s strategic priorities, supporting accreditation pathways, professional renewal and leadership formation.
