Coercive control and situational couple violence: exploring a differential approach to domestic and family violence in child protection practice
About
Ulrike is a social worker who is passionate about working with children and families. She has worked in statutory child protection agencies and now works with families in a family law setting.
She completed her PhD in 2024. Her research focused on domestic and family violence in child protection practice and explored whether and how differentiating between types of domestic and family violence could support better practice with children and families impacted by this issue.
Ulrike lives and works in Adelaide – the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. In her free time, she enjoys baking and walking in the beautiful bushland around her home.
