Catholic Teacher Accreditation

Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School. Full participation in the two day 2019 International Comparative Theology Conference is approved for 12.66 hours awarded towards Category B (The aims, objectives and rationale of Catholic schools) for the purpose of Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School, Policy 1.6.

Victoria Institute of Teaching/ Independent Schools Victoria

Attending the 2019 International Conference on Comparative Theology will contribute up to 12 hours of PD addressing the standards as listed from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher registration in Victoria.

Teachers who attend the conference will understand that this learning will assist in addressing the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: 2.1 Apply knowledge of content and teaching strategies of the teaching area(s) to develop engaging teaching activities.
