James Haycock

Master of High Performance Sport

James Haycock worked as one of the first team physiotherapists at Arsenal Football Club, whilst completing his Master of High Performance Sport at ACU. His role with Arsenal primarily involved the assessment and management of injured players, as well as maintenance strategies for first team players before they head out to train. James pursued postgraduate studies for professional development and ongoing learning. 

When it comes to elite sport, he believes you need to be at the cutting edge of technology and advancements in order to remain effective in your role.

James chose ACU's high performance sport program as it covers all areas of performance sport, and for its well-known teaching staff, who are experienced researchers and practitioners in the industry. James is currently the senior men’s physiotherapist at the Football Association of Wales.
