Faculty of Education and Arts work integrated learning
Work integrated learning (WIL) integrates the theory of learning with the practice of work. It is often referred to as placement, professional experience, clinical education or internships.
At ACU more than 30,000 tailored WIL opportunities occur each year. Students learn alongside experienced practitioners, building knowledge and skills. Workplace educators share their knowledge and expertise and mentor the professionals of the future.
The Faculty of Education and Arts brings together the National School of Education’s strong reputation in teacher education, leadership and religious education with the vibrant arts, humanities and social science programs of the National School of Arts and Humanities. The faculty is active on the University’s seven Australian campuses, and at the Rome Centre in Italy. It offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree research level.
