26 September 2024
ACU North Sydney campus
Synergy is a series of events, hosted at ACU's main campuses. The events feature research project presentations, facilitated discussions, and an opportunity to network to explore research projects and generate ongoing collaborations with the Faculty of Education and Arts.
Synergy by definition means the interaction and cooperation that gives rise to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. It embodies the dynamic coming together of researchers and community partners.
By facilitating impactful research through partnerships, Synergy will directly contribute to the University's Vision of "enabling flourishing lives, fostering thriving communities and forging an ethical future".
The inaugural event will focus on the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education. Attendees can expect thought-provoking keynote presentations from renowned academics, including Professor Rhonda Craven, Associate Professor Theresa Dicke, and Dr Taren Sanders.
We are delighted to have Dr Jennifer Buckingham OAM as our Guest of Honour for this event. Dr Buckingham is Executive Director, Policy and Evidence, Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation, at the NSW Department of Education.
