About your host Blake Bradford and Evocativ
In 2015, we lost six of our close mates to mental health-related deaths. This prompted us to take action and prevent this from happening to the people we care about, as well as the wider community. Our mission is to create a world where everybody wakes up feeling purposeful and inspired to do the things they are passionate about.
Having owned multiple businesses across nine years, I certainly have experienced a few tough days. I have been burned out and worked so much that relationships and friendships have ended. I have also attended countless therapy sessions to help me navigate life successfully. I learned the hard way to look after my mental health, and now I teach others a better way of looking after themselves.
Evocativ is a person-centred organisation that ensures businesses create a healthy work environment which keeps mental health front of mind. We are going to create a world of happier and healthier people.
Spending 19 per cent of our life at work - where most of us feel under-appreciated, stressed out, and sometimes just over it - we believe the workplace is a good place to start improving people's well-being.
Together, let's take suicide to zero.
We're available 9am–5pm AEDT,
