The Plunkett Centre for Ethics and the Australian Catholic University are delighted to invite you to the launch of Why Conscience Matters: A defence of conscientious objection by Dr Xavier Symons, introduced by Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP.

Join us as Dr Symons introduces his book, which provides a detailed introduction to a major debate in bioethics as well as a rigorous account of the role of conscience in professional decision-making.
