We have a successful history of developing Edtech startups on the north shore (eg ASX:3PL, Mathletics and Spellodrome) and on this night we'll explore everything relating to how to start and grow your Edtech venture: from how to develop your idea into a digital solution, how to crack the market, how to get your product sold to a thousand schools and how to demonstrate value adding to school principals and decision makers.

About the speaker

Mark Stanley launched Literatu into the global K-12 education market in 2012 after selling his successful Risk Management software company in 2009.

Literatu's key milestones

3 international awards for education technology, including BETT Asia 2014

  • 60,000 users in Singapore and a partnership with TATA India to deploy across their 1200 schools.
  • B2C assessment app for MacMillan India, supporting 2m (6m in 2018) text books in private schools.
  • Penetrated other markets including: Virginia USA, Guatemala, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
  • When not travelling throughout Asia, Mark mentors young Australian entrepreneurs and is on the Board of a private school in Sydney.
