In 2017, Australia achieved 10th amongst 70 nations in scientific performance, a drop from 4th in 2006! There is clearly a strong need to explore how scientific education is being taught within our schools and today we will focus on how technology is being implemented to improve the way science is being taught in schools.
Our guest speaker for the event will be Mr Derek Williamson. Derek is an experienced and successful museum manager who has a background in science and technology communication. Having worked in museums, school theatres, with organisational stakeholders, government, and public audiences, his consummate experience in the field of education means he has much to share on today's topic!
