The Family Programs and Inclusion team facilitates supported playgroups in Collingwood, Fitzroy, Clifton Hill and Richmond. Our vision is 'Play, Connect, Belong'.

The outcomes sought are:

  1. Families with children are socially connected with other families in their community.
  2. Children have opportunities for improved development in all domains.
  3. Parents/carers have opportunities to access information and support.

Yarra Family, Programs and Inclusion team works collaboratively with local organisations to provide a responsive service.

The role

Students will be involved in setting up environments for children and adults to play and connect, welcoming families, encouraging engagement in activities, packing up environments and evaluating the session with the supported playgroup facilitator.
