Parramatta Mission’s Meals Plus program prepares and serve over 150 freshly cooked, nutritious meals for people in need from Monday to Friday. Our guests can also receive the following support at Meals Plus: hot shower, laundry, clothing/blanket for winter and other living necessities.

The Role

Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and hot drinks. Welcoming guests to the service and directing them to available services through warm, friendly interactions. Preparing and presenting hampers (bag with food items) to people in need. Communicating with and interpreting for CALD guests. Assisting in creativity and idea framing for social engagement.

  • WWC
  • Police Check
  • Other: Interview and Induction required prior to commencing shift.
Details

One or more shifts from Monday to Friday:

  • 7:00am-9:30am (breakfast)
  • 9:30am-1:00pm (lunch)
  • 1:30pm-4:00pm (afternoon hampers)
