Connecting, Communicating, Collaborating for Climate and Social Justice Action: A 5-week program offering learnings and skills about advocacy to deepen the understanding of the call to action.

In small groups, participants will collectively choose a topic of focus and build a foundation that results in a meaningful action. We will work together to design a campaign/initiative on a social issue they care about, while exploring themes like leadership, advocacy, spirituality, and community connection. Sessions will be built around the key elements of; connection, communication, collaboration and action, with clear actionable objectives each week. By the end of the program, participants will be equipped to bring their initiatives/campaigns to life. Beyond the completion of the workshops, participants will continue to "action" their initiatives by actively engaging with the community. The Mercy Hub will continue to support participants by providing mentorship and guidance as well as networking opportunities, resources and connections with key people and organisations related to the social issue of their choice.

The role

Active participant willing to engage and share with others and work collaboratively to design a campaign or initiative based on a social issue to then be put into action.
