We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and qualified people across disciplines to join our casual academic pool at ACU.
ACU employs casual academics to contribute to teaching, marking, tutorial facilitation and student support across disciplines. These roles support the high-quality education and positive learning experience for students.
If you are passionate about supporting student success, hold qualifications at bachelor level or above, are confident using technology, and are open to working flexible, ad-hoc hours, we encourage you to register your interest. You only need to register once, even if you are interested in opportunities across multiple schools or disciplines.
Please note: Existing or previously engaged casual employees will be required to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to be considered for future employment.
To lodge an expression of interest to work as a casual academic with ACU, you must complete the online registration. You will be asked to provide a range of personal details and upload your CV, relevant qualifications, professional registration and other associated documents. We recommend you obtain the requisite certified copies and scan all documents to be uploaded before commencing the registration process. You will also be asked to submit details of referees.
Casual staff must hold an Australian bank account and tax file number to work for ACU.
This process allows us to build a register of qualified candidates for casual academic work as it becomes available through the year. Inclusion in the casual academic pool does not guarantee an offer of employment. Your application will be considered and assessed for suitability. ACU reserves the right to not proceed with any appointment.
You will be required to sign up for a free guest account to complete the form and you can not use an existing ACU email address to do so.
