ACU’s Associate Dean Research at the Faculty of Law and Business, Professor Thomas Lange, has been invited to join the Editorial Board of one of the world’s most distinguished Management journals. The British Journal of Management (BJM) is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal, published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the British Academy of Management.
He joins a global assembly of elite researchers capturing the broad spectrum of Management scholarship. BJM’s Editorial Board is populated with world-leading scholars from internationally renowned, research intensive universities. These include, amongst others, research leaders at the University of Oxford, London School of Economics, University of Warwick, University of Mannheim, Université Paris Dauphine, St Gallen University, RSM Erasmus University, Stockholm University, University of Texas at Arlington, as well as fellow Australian-based business and management scholars at Monash University and the University of New South Wales.
Professor Lange said: “It is an honour and a privilege to become a member of the BJM family. The British Journal of Management’s global reputation speaks for itself. It has been one of the world’s premier outlets for thought leadership in the academic management arena for many years. In the recently launched UK Association of Business Schools (ABS) Journal Guide 2015, the British Journal of Management has been endorsed as one of only seven journals in the General Management, Ethics and Social Responsibility category that attracted a ‘4’ ranking. This ranking recognizes journals that publish the most original and best executed research. As top journals in their field, these outlets typically have high submissions and low acceptance rates. Papers are heavily refereed and journals generally have the highest citation impact factors within their field.

Professor Thomas Lange is an international authority in the empirical Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour research arena. With numerous papers in A/A* rated journal outlets to his credit, his recent publications include articles in the Journal of Vocational Behavior, International Journal of Human Resource Management, British Journal of Management, and Human Resource Management (US).
