Guest speaker: The Honourable Paul Lucas
The Hon Paul Lucas is Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Law and Business, ACU. In a political career spanning more than 15 years he held a range of senior ministerial portfolios including Deputy Premier of Queensland, Attorney General, Infrastructure and Planning, Transport and Main Roads, Local Government, Health and Innovation and Information Economy.
Mr Lucas has Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Law and spent 10 years in private legal practice before entering Parliament. He also has Master's degrees in Business Administration and Urban and Regional Planning. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He currently serves on the board of Airservices where he is Chair of the Environment Committee.
