Professor Yannis Georgellis is Professor of Management and Deputy School Director (Research & Enterprise) at Kent Business School, University of Kent, UK. Prior to joining Kent, he was Research Professor and Director of CRESS (Centre for Research in Employment, Skills, and Society). He held teaching and research positions at Brunel University, City University, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Professor Georgellis is particularly known for his work on happiness, adaptation, and employee well-being. His research explores psychological aspects of decision-making processes within the general context of employee happiness, well-being, and engagement, and their impact on organisational performance.
He has published numerous articles in the areas of human resource management, organisational behavior, and behavioural economics. His work has appeared in some of the world’s leading journals, including Human Resource Management (US), Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, British Journal of Management, Psychological Science, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, among others.
Professor Georgellis’ work has attracted several thousand citations. He is a top 5% author in the REPEC worldwide citation rankings and a Distinguished Associate of the International Atlantic Economic Society (IAES).
Dr Suzy Green D.Psyc.(Clin.)
Dr Suzy Green is a Clinical and Coaching Psychologist (MAPS) and the Founder of The Positivity Institute, an organisation dedicated to the research and application of Positive Psychology for life, school and work. Suzy is a leader in the complementary fields of Coaching Psychology and Positive Psychology having conducted a world-first study on evidence-based coaching as an Applied Positive Psychology. Suzy was the recipient of an International Positive Psychology Fellowship Award and has published in the Journal of Positive Psychology.
Suzy lectured on Applied Positive Psychology as a Senior Adjunct Lecturer in the Coaching Psychology Unit, University of Sydney for ten years and is an Honorary Vice President of the International Society for Coaching Psychology. Suzy also currently holds Honorary Academic positions at the School of Business, University of Western Sydney, School of Business, University of Wollongong, Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne, Institute for Positive Psychology & Education (IPPE), Australian Catholic University and the Black Dog Institute.
Suzy is also an Affiliate of the Institute for Well-Being, Cambridge University. Suzy has a strong media profile appearing regularly on television, radio and in print including her role as “Stress-less Expert” for Australian Women’s Health Magazine.
