Rome Study Tour: Saturday 17 September to Sunday 2 October 2016

The academic discipline of Christian spirituality studies the lived experience of Christian faith. In Rome this experience can be traced back almost two thousand years.

This study tour offers you the opportunity to study Christian Spirituality in Rome through a two-week intensive unit.

Students studying for the Master of Theological Studies will need to enrol in THCP612 Spirituality in the Christian Tradition (10cp) and THEL620 Special Studies in Theology 1 (10cp) or THEL640 Special Studies in Theology 2 (10cp).

Undergraduate students should enrol in THEL300 Theology Special Study 1 (10cp) and THEL301 Theology Special Study 2 (10cp).

Students enrolled in other ACU programs may be eligible to take the tour for course credit. Please consult your course rules or course coordinator.

A limited number of places are available for individuals who wish to participate in the unit in an audit capacity.

Tour cost, including accommodation at the Rome Centre, incidentals (most meals, airport transfers, scheduled group excursions/site visits) and economy return airfares, is as follows:

  • Departing from Adelaide: $3,615
  • Departing from Brisbane: $4,040
  • Departing from Melbourne: $3,728
  • Departing from Sydney: $3,869

Please note, units fees are also applicable upon enrollment.

You may be eligible for an OS-Help Loan of up to $6,470 to support the cost of travel and incidentals. Read more about available financial support.

Participants wishing to source their own accommodation should contact the tour leaders directly for the cost of the tour.

Please be aware that prices may fluctuate depending on the strength of the Australian dollar.
