Reading and Discussion Groups

Our Canberra campus plays host to two reading groups, providing the opportunity for our local community to engage with us intellectually.
Greek Reading Group
In its fifth year, this group is open to anyone interested in learning, polishing or simply being exposed to the Greek of the New Testament. Priests, pastors and teachers join ACU staff and students 8-9 am on Thursdays in foraging in the Book of Revelation, spying out some fairly curious features of the last book of the Bible.

Latin Reading Group
Professor Raymond Canning launched this new group in 2015. Join us on Tuesdays between 8-9 am to focus on the Confessions of St Augustine. The promise of good coffee aids the early start and the collegiality, support and general discussions have created a enjoyable way to spend a morning.
