Psychology is one of the fastest growing and most diverse professional fields in Australia and around the world. Psychology studies the human mind and behaviour. Studying psychology provides students with a comprehensive understanding of behavioural and mental processes.
The School of Psychology has been running accredited psychology programs since 1994, and now offers a full suite of psychology and counselling programs across three campuses in Brisbane, Strathfield and Melbourne.

In addition ACU has a number of collaborations with leading international laboratories that provide research exchanges for both staff and students.
Teaching and learningThe School offers three-year undergraduate sequences and fourth-year training in psychology, as well as a higher degree research program in psychology, and professional training programs in the areas of both Clinical Psychology and Educational and Developmental Psychology.
Our School is distinct in also offering counselling courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The School has a number of prominent research-focused professors, research fellows, and around 40 current PhD students. We also have a number of collaborations with leading international laboratories which supports research exchanges for both staff and students.
