Midwifery

Midwifery goes beyond the birth of babies. Core midwifery skills include managing normal pregnancy and childbirth and providing effective postnatal maternal and newborn care. Graduates will be eligible for endorsement as a midwife upon completion.

Paramedicine

ACU offers the dual four-year Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Paramedicine at its Ballarat, Brisbane and Canberra campuses, and a three-year Bachelor of Paramedicine at its Melbourne and North Sydney campus. Both degrees aim to develop proactive and adaptable graduates who are competent and ethical paramedics. ACU also offers postgraduate programs in Paramedicine including the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters in Paramedicine.
