ACU expert explains what it means to “fully fund” schools

A deal struck with the Federal Government to fully fund West Australian public schools has put the spotlight on school funding nationally, particularly in light of this year's National School Reform Agreement (NSRA).

The Conversation sought out the expertise of ACU educational leadership expert Dr Paul Kidson to write an article explaining what the deal means, how schools are currently funded, and what other jurisdictions across the country can expect in the lead up to the NSRA.

As Dr Kidson writes in his comprehensive piece, hopefully the day will come when all schools receive what they need.
