Animations in Science Education

A new book edited by Professor Len Unsworth at ACU has been published by Springer. This book titled Learning from Animations in Science Education, brings together new research addressing the design and pedagogic use of animation in school science education. It presents studies at the forefront of new knowledge relating to the semiotic construction of animation design, the development of critical interpretation of animations, the selection and use of animations to optimize student learning, student creation of science animations, and using animation in assessing student science learning.
