EAPP Members are required to:

  • Attend elite athlete/performerfunctions, including Elite Athlete and Performer Program (EAPP) orientation sessions.
  • Maintain up to date sporting/performing achievements and information via correspondence with EAPP program.
  • Make yourselves known as a member of the EAPP to Lectures in Charge (LIC) of each unit at the beginning of each semester
  • Notify LIC’s at the beginning of the semester of any expected competitions/performances during the semester that will require time away from university.
  • Respond to communications from the EAPP.

EAPP Members are requested to:

  • Represent ACU as EAPP ambassadors from time to time throughout the semester
  • Participate in AUS endorsed events where possible, including regional and Australian Uni Games
  • Provide a high-resolution photograph that can be used online or in print publications by the university
  • Participate and promote ACU’s sporting programs where possible.

As a member of the EAPP, I agree to the following conditions:

  • I will provide ACU with current, accurate information and supporting documentation
  • I am aware that the EAPP supports academic success, and ensures students have the appropriate assistance for their academic studies whilst honouring their commitments and time schedules as an elite athlete or performer.
  • I will not abuse the support and privileges provided to me as a member of the EAPP, may it be financial or academic assistance.
  • I am aware that it is my responsibility to notify the EAPP of any changes in my sporting career that may affect my status as an Elite Athlete.
  • I am aware that it is my responsibility to keep my contact details up to date.

NOTE: Failure to comply with the conditions laid out in this agreement may result in invalidation of your EAPP status at ACU.

EAPP FAQ’s

If successful, you will be able to take advantage of the Adjustment Factors (bonus points) scheme, timetable benefits such as priority call allocation and will be provided with academic support throughout the year.

Yes, if your sporting or performing circumstances change you will be able to re-apply using the online application form.

EAPP applications remain open all year round however depending on the timing of your application you may miss out being awarded adjustment factors, timetabling benefits and scholarship opportunities.
Once you apply online you will be notified via your registered email with the outcome of your application. Your application to the EAPP is only valid if you receive a formal offer to study at ACU.
Your EAPP outcome letter which will be sent to the email address listed in your application, will advise if your application was successful and if you received adjustment factors. Your application into the EAPP is only valid if you receive a formal offer to study at ACU.

Your supporting letter of recommendation must be on an official organizational letterhead, have the appropriate contact details (email and mobile) of your referee and explain your current involvement in your sport/performance.

ACU supports elite athletes and performers from a wide and diverse range of sporting and performing disciplines. If you are unsure about your discipline, we encourage you to apply for the EAPP program. The below definitions provide a general description. You must have filled out a relevant TAC (UAC, VTAC, QTAC) application or have applied via the ACU Guarantee in order to apply.

An Elite Athlete is defined as, “Someone who has been identified as such by the Australian Institute of Sport, a State Institute (or Academy) of Sport or through membership of relevant national or state sporting association.

An ACU Elite Performer is defined as, “Someone who has been identified as having membership and significant success in major artistic performing arts or production company at a state, national or international level”.
