NB: A student may hold multiple ACU scholarships concurrently, provided that the combined value does not exceed $10,000 per annum.
Applying for an ACU Scholarship is easy. Go to the Scholarships Browser, select the scholarship you want to apply for, and click on 'Apply online now' to start your application.
Below are some helpful tips to help you maximise your chance of success.
Ensure you meet ALL eligibility criteria. Applications that do not meet ALL eligibility criteria are not submitted to the selection committee and will not be considered for a scholarship. Apply for all the scholarships you are eligible for to maximise your chances. Utilise the filters on the Scholarships and Bursaries Browser to reduce the risk of applying for scholarships that you are ineligible for.
Include ALL requested documentation If documentation is missing from your application, and it is a requirement of the application, it will not be submitted to the selection committee.
If you are asked to provide 'EVIDENCE' If you are asked to provide 'EVIDENCE', you must provide documentary evidence to prove that you meet the criteria. A written statement or explanation is insufficient.
Be specific Some scholarships require applicants to provide written statements. Make sure your statement covers the specific information that is requested. If you are asked to provide 'details' you can normally outline details in a written statement with or without documentary evidence.
Check the details you have provided Re–read your application and have a friend or family member double check it before you submit to ensure you have clearly covered all specifics outlined in the scholarship rules.
Check your emails Check your ACU student email account regularly, as that is where all scholarship correspondence will be sent and your response may be required within a certain timeframe.
