Apply for VET in four easy steps

Follow this step-by-step guide for applying to VET courses at ACU College. The process is quick and should only take around 15 minutes.

1. Choose your course

We offer VET courses in study areas such as:

  • allied health (VETin schools)
  • early childhood education
  • education support
  • exercise science
  • first aid and CPR and management
  • individual support
  • leadership and management
  • nursing.

2. Confirm your entrance requirements 

To be eligible for your chosen VET course, you need to meet the entry requirements. These could include: 

  • demonstrating a satisfactory level of language, literacy and numeracy
  • completing Year 12 or equivalent
  • attending a pre-training review and interview.

3. Check campus locations and intake dates

Our VET courses are only offered across a limited number of ACU campuses. Make sure you know the course location before you apply.

It’s also important you know about the VET intake dates, usually February and July of the academic year, as well as any application opening and closing dates.

4. Apply 

When you’re ready to apply, visit the relevant course page and email the office of ACU College for the next steps.

Important note: The Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance is delivered in schools and is not open to individual applicants.
