Discover the nutritive value of foods, the nutrients that bodies need at different stages of development, and the roles these factors play in health promotion and disease prevention. Your studies in nutrition science will focus on general healthcare, chronic disease management, emerging health areas and Indigenous health. You'll also get a foundation in dietetics, setting you up for further study to become a qualified dietitian.
