Communications
The Communications Team works collaboratively with all the portfolios to:
- manage all the society’s social media platforms;
- work with the other portfolios to design fun and engaging marketing plans for our events,
- develop useful resources for ACU law students; and
- ensure ACU law students are aware of the society’s beneficial events and resources.
The Communications Team encourages all students to follow our Facebook (@stpatrickslss), LinkedIn (‘St Patrick’s Law Students’ Society’) and Instagram (@stpatrickslss) platforms to have up-to-date information about our initiatives.

Competitions
The Competitions Team runs all internal competitions as well all external competitions the law faculty engages in. Our team of four is dedicated to providing as many opportunities as possible for SPLSS members to apply their legal knowledge while developing advocacy and written skills.
We run competitions across all year levels and strongly encouraged first years to compete by running competitions such as the First Year's Paper Writing Competitions and First Timer's Moot. Other competitions to get involve in include Client Interviews, Negotiations, Graham Thomas QC Moot and All Years’ Writing Competition.

Events and fundraising
The Events and Fundraising Team seeks to produce valued events and beneficial fund raisers for the benefit of our students. In doing so, we add vibrancy to university culture and are consistently enriching the lives of students on campus. We organise exciting social events where students can develop friendships with various year levels. We see the importance was developing connections that will follow them into the legal industry once admitted.

Immediate past president
The Immediate past president (‘IPP’) allows the incoming Society to retain valuable lessons and knowledge that had been experienced in the past years. The IPP provides the incoming Executive Team with advice, assistance and support where necessary.
Professional development
The Professional Development Team provides students with opportunities to gain insight into potential educational and career pathways within the law. We are responsible for organising events and initiatives that will encourage engagement from students with the legal profession and learn where a law degree can take them. We have hosted a number of events throughout the year including Careers Fair, Clerkship Workshops, Mock Clerkship Interviews, Law Breakfast and Panels etc.

Wellbeing and equity
The Wellbeing and Equity Team aims to provide students at ACU with the tools and skills necessary to maintain a healthy and positive lifestyle whilst completing studies.
We hosted a variety of events which were aimed at encouraging positive study habits and general wellbeing in the form of information panels and Yoga & Yogurt. We strive to promote community initiatives for students to participate in, including blood donations and homelessness awareness.

Year level representatives
The Year level representatives Team allows for a connect between the Society and the students in each year level. Our representatives update students on current events, publications and opportunities offered by the Society throughout the semester on campus and online platforms.
