We run competitions across all year levels and strongly encouraged first years to compete by running competitions such as the First Year's Paper Writing Competitions and First Timer's Moot. Other competitions to get involve in include Client Interviews, Negotiations, Graham Thomas QC Moot and All Years’ Writing Competition.

Events and fundraising
The Events and Fundraising Team seeks to produce valued events and beneficial fund raisers for the benefit of our students. In doing so, we add vibrancy to university culture and are consistently enriching the lives of students on campus. We organise exciting social events where students can develop friendships with various year levels. We see the importance was developing connections that will follow them into the legal industry once admitted.

Immediate past president
The Immediate past president (‘IPP’) allows the incoming Society to retain valuable lessons and knowledge that had been experienced in the past years. The IPP provides the incoming Executive Team with advice, assistance and support where necessary.
The Professional Development Team provides students with opportunities to gain insight into potential educational and career pathways within the law. We are responsible for organising events and initiatives that will encourage engagement from students with the legal profession and learn where a law degree can take them. We have hosted a number of events throughout the year including Careers Fair, Clerkship Workshops, Mock Clerkship Interviews, Law Breakfast and Panels etc.
