MER win award for excellence

ACU’s Marketing and External Relations (MER) department has been awarded the Excellence in Marketing Communication and Public Relations award by the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM).

Awarded for ACU’s 2011/12 Change of Preference Campaign, MER beat 15 other entries from Australia and New Zealand to take the top prize.

The judges commended the high quality of work, impressed that the campaign was prepared in house. 

"ACU's entry scored highly in all of the judging criteria and was the clear winner,” said the judging team.

“The entry itself was innovative with its design and presentation, making all information easily accessible and clear. The results achieved were impressive and exceeded the campaign objective."

MER is also a national finalist in the Education category of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) awards – which will be announced next month.
