Karen completed a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Hons) in 2015. Her Honours thesis investigated the relationship between physical activity and cognition in Parkinson's disease. Before joining the Behaviour, Environment and Cognition Research Program as a research assistant on the international Mind, Activities and urban Places (iMAP) study, Karen worked on research projects with patients with neurological conditions. She has a particular interest in cognitive decline in typically ageing adults and degenerative neurological conditions..
