Madan K C is an aspiring PHD candidate currently enrolled in Master’s by Research within the Behaviour Environment and Cognition Research Program at the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, ACU. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Electronics at Visvesvaraya Technological University – VTU, India. He then completed a Master of Science in Medical and Healthcare Devices from the University of Bolton, United Kingdom and a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Administration from Australian Catholic University. He has previously worked as a Biomedical Engineer in hospitals in Nepal, India and UK.
He is currently developing data-driven computational models for predicting neurodegeneration using MRI. Madan is also interested in the application of computational technology and artificial intelligence in healthcare and hopes that the methods he is currently developing will be used by a wider clinical and research community.
He is currently supervised by Dr Govinda Poudel (Primary) and Professor Ester Cerin.
