Musculoskeletal Health and Ageing Research Program

Karen graduated with a PhD in nutrition in 2016 following a bachelor’s degree in food science and nutrition. She has been working at ACU since 2015 assisting senior research staff on projects including nutrient and food intakes of older Australians and preventing falls in older women. She has a keen interest in statistics and aims to develop new skills in research methodology and data analysis. Karen is interested in how society can ensure equality in access to healthy food choices with a focus on older Australians.
