Research Fellow
David is an environmental epidemiologist with background in physical activity sciences, psychology, and physiotherapy. He is currently a Lecturer researcher at the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research. His previous research at ISGlobal (Barcelona) and IRAS (Utrecht) has focused on the development of novel methodologies to accurately assess personal exposures and behaviors (including physical activity, contact with natural outdoor environments, and exposure to air pollution, noise, and ultraviolet radiation). His long-term research goal is to understand the relationship and effects of environment and behavior on health, and to design effective preventive health interventions.
