Dr Andrew Garnham is a specialist sports doctor who has performed muscle biopsies, cannulation and various intra-venous modalities for member of the Exercise and Nutrition Research Program. Dr Garnham has performed muscle and blood sampling for a number of projects, one of which included an overnight stay to perform round-the-clock sampling in a world-first study of circadian metabolomics. Two of these projects have led to high-quality publications, with five manuscripts in review/preparation and one study ongoing.
A further study commencing soon will utilise Dr Garnham’s expertise to obtain adipose tissue biopsies.
