Microstructural Imaging and Rehabilitative Plasticity Program

Alex completed the undergraduate degrees Animal and Veterinary Biosciences and Psychological Science at La Trobe University in 2016. Alex returned to La Trobe in 2018 to complete her honours in Psychology and in the same year began work at ACU with Associate Professor Karen Caeyenberghs investigating structural brain and cognition changes in gynaecological cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Alex is interested in investigating the impacts of cancer using both pre-clinical and clinical studies and hope to continue this work in the future.
