Aunty Rev Patricia is and belongs to the Gurang Gurang (Owl – Bundaberg, Qld) and Birri (Emu – Collinsville, Qld) Yunger (Mother) & Googue (Grandmother), and has English, Irish and French ancestry. She has over 30 years of professional experiences in the human services in community, government, education and religious organisations. In 2008 Patricia was ordained as a priest within the Anglican Diocese of North Queensland. Patricia is a faculty staff member of the international theological organisation, NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community.

Her PhD thesis, ‘Aboriginal Spirituality in a Christian Context,’ is supervised by Dr Emmanuel Nathan, A/Professor Nell Musgrove and previously Professor David Sim.
