Jacob is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven and at ACU’s Institute of Religion and Critical Inquiry. His research examines how phenomenology intersects with a theology of creation’s goodness and religious experience. His thesis, ‘Phenomenology and Creation’s Goodness’ is supervised by Prof. Robyn Horner (ACU) and Prof. Stephan van Erp (KU Leuven). His co-supervisors are Prof. Yves De Maeseneer, Dr. David Newheiser, and Dr. Christiaan Jacobs-Vandegeer.
