Diane Carroll’s research predominately focuses on educational psychology, leadership and public policy. In particular, as part of her PhD she is looking at the impact Australian State and Federal education policy is having on school leader well-being. She also has an interest in organisational psychology, and specifically, how leadership influences occupational outcomes. Prior to working at IPPE, Diane has worked over 20 years in both the government and independent school sectors, and managed and delivered whole-of-government reforms for both the WA Departments of The Premier and Cabinet and Treasury and Finance. Diane is the Vice President of the Independent Schools Tasmania Board, and is Chair of the Tasmanian Regional Committee for the Institute of Managers and Leaders, Australian and New Zealand.
