Marcus Horwood’s research predominately focuses on educational psychology and public policy. In particular, as part of his PhD he is looking at the impact Australian State and Federal education policy is having on school leader well-being. He also has an interest in organisational psychology, and specifically, how the role of work passion influences occupational outcomes. Marcus has also managed a number of school interventions, such as MyScience, and Imagine, within IPPE. Prior to working at IPPE, Marcus worked at Ernst & Young in their Human Capital division, was an executive on the Hills Rural Business Chamber, and co-founded an IT firm he recently sold.
