Thesis: Conditions of Success for Aboriginal Students
This thesis will assess Aboriginal students who were in the top 25% of their Year 5 NAPLAN Reading scores in 2011. The research has involved interviews with Aboriginal students in Year 6 2012, their parents, teachers whom the students had in years 3, 4, and 5, their school principals and any Aboriginal staff in the schools, to determine what each considered the key conditions surrounding these Aboriginal students that have contributed to their gaining sound academic outcomes.
