Dr Kristina Loderer is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Munich in Germany. Her research interests include achievement emotion and motivation, with a particular focus on the effects of emotions on learning, academic performance, and psychological health. Her current work concentrates on functional and dysfunctional approaches to regulating achievement emotions, as well as the development of interventions targeting emotional competencies in students. Methodologically, Dr Loderer’s work has drawn on experimental study design, field-based treatment evaluation, and advanced meta-analytic techniques for evidence synthesis.
